Literacy guerrilla marketing

The Greenville Literacy Association wanted to raise money with a giant book sale and asked the community to donate books for it via a very diverse guerrilla marketing campaign. For example steps were turned into stacks of books, mini books were left in restaurants, the face of a parking garage was turned into huge book shelf and books were also left on grocery store shelfs, all asking "Have any books lying around?"

Very nice execution.

A different approach to Guerrilla Marketing

Miranda July has a new book coming out and this online guerrilla marketing campaign featuring a "dry-erase" board is a different approach to get the word out. Very clever.
