What a cute tutu

This very nice guerrilla marketing idea for ballet lessons at Vivianne's Studio is actually a few years old but still makes a lot of sense today. Similar concepts have been executed for a dentist, piano lessons and a circumcisor, but in each case the execution was customized and spot on. But does anyone know where Vivianne's Studio actually is / or was?

Men with unique talent

A new talent show has quite a few men performing various unique talents, but unlike Dancing With The Stars and American Idol, this Men With Talent show seems to appeal to a more male audience. Very interesting indeed.

The song these guys played almost makes you cry even though it is apparent by then that it is all just an excellent marketing stunt by Heineken.

Don't just stand around and watch

Violence against public service employees is apparently a growing issue in the Netherlands and a very nifty interactive billboard brings awareness to that fact and encourages people to act / do one or more of 4 suggestions to stop that vicious circle.

Just take your clothes off

On this Earth Day everyone should do something to help the planet and ideally we should think about it on other days too. Axe has an idea to help secure our water supply and they are encouraging folks to take their clothes off and shower together, thus saving valuable water. Go group shower, go Earth Day.

Just an awesome day

What is not to love about the sun, surf, flaming tennis balls and a carefree nature? A new "Awesome Day" commercial of K-Swiss represents all of that in a spot directed by Keith Schofield, with a choir of young SoCal students performing California Sun.

Now go out and have an awesome day, in K-Swiss shoes of course!

Moving packages efficiently

Very nice advertising campaign for FedEx. There is no doubt what they are saying with this very series of images. With the current Eyjafjallajökull situation we wished that moving packages and people would be as efficient and painless as that.

Guerrilla marketing or hoax?

Sam Ewen recently stumbled upon these New Balance sneakers in New York City. There are all kinds of urban myths about what it means when you come across sneakers hanging from a utility line, but not so many about shoes hanging from a traffic signal. But now we are curious if this is guerrilla marketing for New Balance or just a practical joke?

A serious ant protest

We might all be not so happy about insecticides but can you really imagine how ants feel about that stuff? It seems some ants are specifically mad about the Baygon brand in this guerrilla marketing stunt. Interesting for sure is that we have real ants and real protest boards staring in this clip. Go ants.

Hopefully we can hire these ants for some marketing activities sometime soon

Realistic training is key

When your are preparing for any kind of race or event it is very important to get your training done in a realistic environment. Several years back a fun video that depicts the rigors of triathlon swim training was created, with the notion that you need Clif Bar to sustain that kind of energy. There are several versions of this clip on youtube, with this one having 250,000 views. Word on the street is that this video isn't an official commercial but a guerrilla marketing effort by a sponsored athlete.

A very cozy subway station

A nice Ikea marketing stunt made a Paris subway station quite cozy for commuters and visitors alike. Comfy sofas, wooden flooring and splashes of color changed the ambience of the Opera station in Paris quite a bit and now you know how to make your subway station (or home) more spiffy.

Graffiti included

Before you think that some rascals worked over this billboard with graffiti, look a bit closer. This Romanian ad for Aspirin actually works in harmony with graffiti, and the whole idea was to think outside of the box. Headache anyone?

The advantages of small

To get some stunts done without getting in trouble with the law and city ordinances, Nissan Canada used a 1/10 scale RC model of the Nissan Sentra SE-R and created a fun video of it on its way home. Chasing through puddles, piles of leaves, under another vehicle and eventually through a dog door into the garage this spot is very well done and promises to be a viral marketing success.

Not just any business card

Flimsy business cards usually don't make a good impression unless you have someone delivering them with some gusto. We are not really saying that the Samsung Camcorder H205 cards are flimsy, but it most likely wouldn't matter if they were. The guy in this Samsung guerrilla marketing spot handles them like shurikens and the H205 camcorders capture all the action.

Holy tomato.

More Uranus comfort

Comfort on the saddle is a major concern for many cyclists and Pearl Izumi addresses this issue with their new Project Uranus and the 4D chamois. Expert Astronomer Professor Bowsacker and a Pearl Izumi project manager talk about how the new anatomical 4D chamois really does wonders for Uranus. Yes indeed, for Ur Anus. How often can the word Uranus pop up in this one Pearl Izumi spot? Apparently more often than in a whole Beavis and Butthead season. Plus the spot features a nice cross promotion with Dave Zabriskie's DZNuts product.
