Halloween Krispy Kreme style

While most folks struggled with the Halloween candy buying decision, employees of Krispy Kreme got 50 packs of mini Krispy Kreme donuts to hand out to trick and treat kids. Not only is this a nice gesture from the company to its employees, but also works quite nicely as a guerrilla marketing action. Plus it may also be a sign of things to come at Krispy Kreme.

  1. Great idea: Krispy Kreme needs something. Between low carb diets, Dunkin' Donut's aggressive move into non-doughnut offerings and new coffee beverages and overwhelming negative publicity about obesity in America, the bloom is fading from this brand. Extending the brand with this type of distribution could help.

  2. Yes, I think making our kids fat enough to withstand a blizzard in their Undroos is brilliant. Why not feed this crap to real gorillas? This isn't 'distribution,' this is fat addiction aimed at children.

  3. hooooooooooooooooooow!!! scary
