Bashed in window marketing
In the pedestrian zone in Zurich, Switzerland we noticed people fixated on the shop window of the Goldschmied Schulter, and it looked like someone had tried to break into the display window. But once you stepped up to the goldsmith shop window and touched the glass it became apparent that the broken window was on the inside and only there for guerrilla marketing purposes. This has been done before for sure but the little trick still seems to work, plus it makes more sense in Europe where jewelers and goldsmiths actually leave their goods in the windows 24/7.

ReplyDeleteYeah sure! When was the last time you were in Europe?
It makes indeed more sense in Europe (where I grew up) but I think it would cause similar attention in the USA.
