Swift guerrilla marketing
Last Friday, people in Los Angeles found red socks with the note "Lose a sock, Boston? ESPN joins Los Angeles in welcoming Manny Ramirez" in various laundromats throughout the city. This guerrilla marketing activity for ESPN was quite swift considering that Ramirez got traded from Boston to LA late on Thursday in a three way trade. The question now beckons, what did the Boston folks find in their humble city to "welcome" Jason Bay from the Pittsburgh Pirates?
