An interesting ambient campaign for Ford in Chile utilized imprinted carpet material that looked like a rough road. Signs then told drivers that this is how a Ford Ranger would feel like if driven over such a "rough road." This guerrilla marketing stunt was apparently only done in extreme low speed areas to ensure safety.
